What started out as a flat of strawberries at a simple roadside stand has grown over time into an International Marketplace.
Since 1979 Nino Salvaggio’s has proudly made Macomb our home.
As Macomb County experienced some of the largest growth in Michigan over the past decades, so have we. We’re very proud of our heritage and diversity, offering produce and products from our local Michigan growers and businesses as well as ingredients from around the world, many of which come from the suggestions of customers who love being a part of OUR family.
With stores in St. Clair Shores, Troy and Clinton Township, it was Nino Salvaggio’s passion to not only bring the highest-quality products but also to become an integral part of each community he served
Today, the passion and dedication to quality and service embodied by Nino live on through his children, his partners, and each employee who wears his signature “strawberry” on his or her uniform or apron. For Nino, produce and groceries weren’t just a business; they were his life.
The Clinton Township store has it all.
Since the opening of the Clinton Township store, besides offering an enormous selection of the highest-quality groceries, Nino’s has become an active part of the community, offering cooking classes, providing free use of its community room for local groups and businesses, hosting charity events, and making many generous donations each year. It’s our way of giving back to the community we serve.
If you haven’t visited our Clinton Township store, please stop by. Not only will you find everything you need and more in our produce section, you’ll also be amazed at the selections in our Butcher Shop as well as in our Seafood, Bakery, Floral, Dairy and Grocery Departments.
