Boating brings waves of people to Macomb County

Macomb County’s blue economy thrives on many fun water activities. Boating is, of course, a primary attraction, offering hours of recreational fun for both locals and visitors alike.

Nicki Polan, executive director with the Michigan Boating and Industries Association, a nonprofit group with a goal of promoting recreational boating in Michigan, is one such advocate for Macomb County’s blue economy. She recently wrote a blog about boating in Michigan, connecting boating enthusiasts with one another and educating others about what Macomb County’s lakes and rivers have to offer. Sarah Cormier works for the Macomb County Executive Office, often writing about interesting activities taking place in Macomb County.
