Wolverine Harley-Davidson’s Harley Fest is a big party/gathering of everybody and everything Harley-Davidson, and it’s FREE. There will be live music, food and venders all day. Last year, approximately 10,000 people attended the one-day event. It is truly the biggest Harley-Davidson party of the year in all of Michigan and surrounding areas and Wolverine Harley-Davidson is proud to be the annual sponsor.
The day will begin with the annual Charity Ride leaving from Wolverine Harley-Davidson at 11:15 a.m. The proceeds of the Charity Ride this year will benefit Camp Quality, a camp for children battling cancer. It gives those children the opportunity to talk about the issues they are dealing with, with other children who are going through the same issues. Another charity we are supporting is Rainbow Connection, who works to make wishes come true for children who are faced with serious life-threatening illnesses. Rainbow helps those children and their families go to places like Disney World. Annually approximately 150-200 motorcycles ride in the Charity Ride.
There will be a number of bands preforming live all day capped off by a live concert by the famous Skid Row Band. In addition, Tommy Flanagan (Chibs), star of the hit television show, Sons of Anarchy will be there to sign autographs from 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Additionally, Detroit’s own hockey star from the Detroit Red Wings, Darren McCarty, will be signing autographs from 5 p.m. to 7pm.
Wolverine Harley-Davidson will have a large display of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles for sale and Harley-Davidson MotorClothes from the MotorClothes department including the Exclusive Wolverine Harley Fest T-shirts, patches and pins which are available for purchase during Wolverine Harley Fest. Wolverine Harley-Davidson is giving away a new 2015 Iron 883 Sportster during Harley Fest.
The really great thing about Wolverine Harley Fest is reconnecting with longtime friends you haven’t seen in a while when you’re there. Riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle is being part of a culture, and, over the years, you develop many friends while you’re out on the road. There is no better way to experience America than on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and that is where the Harley-Davidson culture begins.
Oh, and you don’t have to be a Harley rider to attend. Please join us.
