One hundred forty-three years ago, the small town of Armada created a tradition that continues to maintain a family friendly and fun atmosphere for all ages. Supported by the community, The Armada Fair gives people the opportunity to experience motorsport shows, livestock and craft exhibits, concerts, free eating contests, the carnival and more!
This year’s fair is August 17th through the 23rd. This true country fair is one of the only fairs in Michigan that allows livestock exhibits and is also one of the only fairs to still host tractor and truck pulls. This year’s tractor and truck pulls will be held Saturday at noon and 5 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Along with tractor and truck pulls, this year the Armada Fair will be hosting a Joe Nichols concert, a Bump and Run, a demolition derby, a Figure 8 race and a rodeo. The information of time and date for each event will be on the Armada Fair website at armadafair.org.
In addition to the nightly events, the Armada fair also includes carnival rides and competitions in the grove for all ages. These competitions include pizza, pie, corn and watermelon-eating contests as well as a candy scramble and a pedal pull for kids. If you are looking for a good time, good food, and good company, the Armada Fair is the place to be! Hope to see you there!
