1 – The City of St. Clair Shores is hosting their first farmers market of the season on Sunday, May 22 at Blossom Heath Park. The mission is to provide a quality market and entrepreneurial opportunity for growers and vendors, offering a variety of locally grown and handmade products while encouraging a family-oriented, community-based, educational shopping experience through exposure and participation. This Sunday, May 22nd is the Wines of the Thumb Taste Fest at the Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township. This wine tasting event highlights all the wineries along the approximate 275-mile trail. 3 – St. Joan of Arc is hosting their 47th Annual Festival from noon till 11 p.m. on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 and from 1 p.m. till 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22. There will be carnival rides, a food and beer tent, live entertainment and a Texas Hold’Em tournament. 4 – On Friday, May 20, the Macomb County Office of Senior Services is hosting its annual Senior Fun Fest at the Gibraltar Trade Center. There will be a variety of community resources, health screenings, wellness activities, entertainment, games, prizes and more! Visit mca.macombgov.org for more information!

On Sunday, May 22, head to the Nautical Mile in St. Clair Shores for the 21st Annual Nautical Coast Clean-up.This 100 percent volunteer event has gathered over 628 tons of debris from the Lake St. Clair shoreline. Once again, they are encouraging everyone to join their efforts to clean the beaches and shoreline of Lake St. Clair.
