1 – This Thursday, June 16, join Westview Orchards Winery for a wine and food pairing inspired by backyard barbecue favorites prepared by Crank’s Catering and the start of strawberry season! 2 – The 2016 Rosefest is a four-day family fun event in Roseville that hosts a sprawling midway presented by Wade Shows and will feature the RoseFest Parade, RoseFest Pageant, vendor show, live entertainment, movie in the park, children’s activities, petting farm, bounce houses, food, fireworks and more! 3 – Run to Read this Saturday at Stony Creek Metropark! There is a 5k & 10k trail run and 5ktrail walk that meanders through beautiful Stony Creek on shaded pathways. This event benefits Macomb Literacy Partners (MLP). MLP recruits, trains and pairs volunteer tutors with adults who need help learning to read. 4 – The Carpathia Club in Sterling Heights is hosting their 12th Annual GermanFest and Father’s Day Picnic this weekend! This German Ethnic Festival will feature live German music, as well as German food, beer and pastries. 5 – Lake St. Clair Metropark is hosting American Band at their Sunday night concert series from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. this Sunday, June 19. American Band is a Detroit-based cover band that plays a variety of classic rock, new rock and new country music.
