1 – SterlingFest 2016
Mark your calendars! SterlingFest returns to the city of #SterlingHeights on July 28, 29, and 30! Highlights to look forward to at this year’s event include an arts and crafts show, four stages with live music each day, tasty local eats in Restaurant Row, and fun for young ones over at the KidzTent.

The SterlingFest Art and Music Fair will be located on the city of Sterling Heights campus at 40555 Utica Road. 2 – Dog’s Night Out at Partridge Creek

Come enjoy a meal for you and your dog at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 at the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township. Nordstrom Bistro will be making a delicious meal for you, and Three Dog Bakery will be making a yummy dinner for your dog! Tickets are just $25 for each couple (one human and one dog) and $10 for each additional dog or human. Hurry and reserve your seat today – stop in the bakery or call  (586) 226-3DOG!

Additionally, on Sunday, July 31, Three Dog Bakery, in conjunction with Bark-A-Bout, is hosting an Ice Cream Party to benefit NBS Animal Rescue. There will be ice cream for dogs and humans. This event will be hosted at Bark-A-Bout in Shelby Township!  http://www.barkabout.net/

3 – Family Campout at Jimmy John’s Field – plus more!

Join in all of the family fun with the 1st annual Jimmy John’s Field Family Campout event presented by Xfinity! For only $22, you will receive a grandstand admission ticket to the Saturday, July 30 game, a post-game movie, the ultimate campout experience on the field and doughnuts the next morning for breakfast. Already have a ticket to the game? No problem, you can upgrade to the campout for only $10! Campout concludes at 8 a.m. the following morning.

Families are invited and encouraged to register for this fun event for the whole family!  Enjoy a great baseball game featuring the Eastside Diamond Hoppers as they take on the Utica Unicorns at 7:25 p.m.  After the game, all kids can run the bases just like the players do. Those choosing to stay overnight will get their camping gear, come onto the field, and set up their tents for a night of fun sleeping under the stars at Jimmy John’s Field!  There will also be a family movie shown on the in-stadium video board once all the tents are set up! 4 – Rodders by the Bay

Rodders by the Bay is an exciting car show held at Brandenburg Park on Saturday, July 30. Car show registration and check-in begins at 7 a.m. and is $20 per car. 5 – Simpson Park Camp 5K Run & Walk

Head to Bruce Township on Saturday, July 30 at 8 a.m. for a scenic 5K course winding through the beautiful historic Simpson Park Camp Meeting Grounds and continuing through tree-lined country roads, rural farms and residential areas. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Running category groups are under 18, 18-34, 35-54, and 55+. Prizes will be awarded to the first place male and female runner in each group. The $35 registration fee supports the historic Simpson Park Camp Meeting Grounds and includes a T-shirt and refreshments.
