ART! Macomb returns to downtown Mount Clemens this weekend

The annual ART! Macomb festival is back for another year in downtown Mount Clemens. The free art fair, hosted by the Anton Art Center and presented by Genisys Credit Union, will open at noon on Friday, June 1 and run through 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 3. More than 50 artists are participating as vendors and organizers are planning entertainment and several family-friendly activities, which makes this event something you shouldn’t miss!

“ART! Macomb marks the 37th year that the Anton Art Center will host an art fair in downtown Mount Clemens,” said Phil Gilchrist, executive director of the center. “This longstanding Mount Clemens tradition is an opportunity to bring our community together in support and celebration of art!”

Worried about finding a parking spot at the festival? Organizers have you covered! Several lots are located within walking distance of the event and will be free from 6 p.m. art macomb 4on Friday through the close of the event on Sunday. And while you’re in Mount Clemens, be sure to check out some of the downtown’s public art and visit some of its unique shops, restaurants and cultural institutions.
